After Tuesday's three-overtime epic between the Chicago Blackhawks and Anaheim Ducks in the Western Conference finals, the were happy to end an overtime game much more quickly than that.After an insane game that featured both teams blowing two-goal leads, and a late game-tying goal from the , delivered the game-winner just 3:33 into the first overtime period of Game 3 of the Eastern Conference finals.Just minutes before, Lightning forward was thwarted by Rangers goalie on a breakaway chance.When Quinton Dial Jersey Kucherov came flying back down the ice, he didn't have quite as open a look as his teammate. In fact, he had defensemen and both between him and the net. The Lightning winger veered to the middle of the ice and pulled back his stick as if he was going to make another move to try to split the defenders.Instead of trying to pull the puck back between the Rangers rearguards, Kucherov unleashed a surprise shot that caught a deflection and found its way inside the left post. Lundqvist may have never really gotten a good look at it after it changed direction on him.The goal was Kucherov's second OT winner in the postseason as he also delivered the winner in Game 1 against the Montreal Canadiens in the last round. His goal also represented the fourth of the game for one of the three members of the Lightning's "Triplets Line," though one of the goals came 4-on-4 without Kucherov on the ice.The Triplets, which also includes and have scored 25 of the Lightning's goals this season and a lot of them have been big ones. In the playoffs, they only get bigger as your team advances. Kucherov's tally gave Tampa Bay a 2-1 series lead as they protected home ice in their first game back at Amalie Arena this series.
