Arshavin played well and had a few chances Arsenals hopes of qualifying for the Champions League were dealt another blow as Fulham lead Arsenal to thei fourth succesive league goale s draw.Andrew Johnson was close but then Andrei Arshavins well-taken cro s was headered by Robin van Persie and Mark Schwarzer produced a brilliant save to deny the Dutchman. van Persie then headered against the post as Arsenal dominated chances in the first half.Johnson again had a chance but fired past the post and Abou Diaby and Arshavin were denied by Schwarzer. Fulhams draw meant that it was their third point of all time away against Arsenal. Arsenal had never gone four goale s draws in the league since October 1993 before the game.Francesc Fabregas, Emmanuel Adebayor, Mikael Silvestre, Theo Walcott, Tomas Rosicky and Eduardo Da Silva could not return for the game against Fulham.Arsene Wenger said We had chances to score and so did they, it was an open game. And it finished with a result that we did not want as we have dropped two points. We are not scoring goals and the offensive confidence of the team is not high and as a result the players are becoming a little anxious. The fans are frustrated and so are we are.We have to take the result on the chin and Max Domi Jersey continue to fight. Also Arsene Wenger admits Arsenals Champions League qualification hopes are in real danger. Arsenal are six points behind fourth placed Aston Villa now. Arsenal have failed to score in four league games, their worst run in fifteen years.Sixth placed Everton are only two points behind Arsenal which means Arsenal could come sixth at the end of the season. Luckily, Manchester United won the Carling Cup and if Arsenal come sixth they will still get into the UEFA Cup (called the UEFA Europa League next season).Wenger said Im concerned, said the Gunners bo s after Saturdays 0-0 draw at home to Fulham. This is a big blow to us.That gap will be eight points if Villa beat Stoke at home on Sunday. We lacked always a bit of sharpne s to take our chances and our pa ses werent quick enough to give them real problems, said Wenger, whose Arsenal side have been involved in the Champions League each season over the last 10 years.I dont think it was a 0-0 game because both sides created chances, but we had weakne ses both defensively and offensively. Our goalscoring record has dried out over more than five games. There are plenty of reasons. One of them is certainly psychological, but overall its hard to a se s what is tactical, what is technical and what is psychological. The more I speak about it, the more there is a problem.I dont think its about us only trying to score the perfect goal the perfect goal is only when the ball touches the net.
