How to Obtain the Rune Pouch

There are a few methods to obtain the Rune Pouch in OSRS. Here's a breakdown of the different ways you can get your hands on this handy item:

1. Abyssal Npcs (Killing Abyssal Creatures)

One of the easiest ways to get the Rune Pouch is by simply killing Abyssal creatures that roam within the Abyss area itself. These creatures drop a Rune Pouch as part of their loot table. You can access the Abyss by entering via the Abyss Mini-Quest, and once there, take on the various creatures.

Step 3: Engage the Abyssal creatures and keep an eye out for the Rune Pouch drop. The drop rate for the Rune Pouch is around 1 in 1,000, so it may take some time to obtain.

2. Purchasing from the Mage of Zamorak

Another method for obtaining the Rune Pouch is to purchase it directly from the Mage of Zamorak. You'll find this NPC in the Abyss area, and he sells the Rune Pouch for a price of 3,000  and a handful of Blood Money.

Steps to Purchase the Rune Pouch from the Mage of Zamorak:

Visit the Abyss: Enter the Abyss via the "Enter the Abyss" mini-quest.

Locate the Mage of Zamorak: You'll find the Mage of Zamorak standing within the Abyss near one of the entrances.

Make the Purchase: Speak with the Mage and purchase the Rune Pouch from him for 3,000 Blood Money. If you don't have any Blood Money, you'll need to grind out more in the Abyss to make this purchase.
