The long road from college to the majors

Part of why this run feels more satisfying is the way the early choices are still echoing now. I picked UNC at the start because the development bonuses were too good to ignore, even though it hurt my draft stock. That gamble dropped me into the second round, and yeah, that part stung. You watch first-round guys shoot through the minors while you're stuck in Double-A, and it gets old fast.
