Most wipes against Turbine don't happen because the squad can't aim. They happen because people turn up with the wrong kit, panic when the sky lights up, and try to force damage while the thing is still armored up. Close-range guns feel good in most messy Raider fights, but they're a bad habit here. Shotguns, SMGs, and standard rifles just don't do enough when Turbine is floating high and moving across the arena. You want Jupiter-class weapons, especially sniper rifles or marksman rifles. They hit hard, hold their value at range, and give you a better chance of punching through armor when the weak spots show. A good distance is around 150 to 200 meters. Far enough that you can read the boss's movement. Close enough that your shots still land without feeling like guesswork. Don't stand shoulder to shoulder either. Spread out a little, or one bad lightning pattern can turn the whole squad into scrap.

Wait for the mine drop

The biggest mistake is firing just because Turbine is on your screen. I get it. It's huge, loud, and annoying, so everyone wants to shoot. But during its normal flight pattern, you're mostly wasting ammo. The moment that matters is the Minefield attack. Turbine dips lower, slows down, and starts dropping mines across the ground. That's when the side fuel canisters become realistic targets. They're yellow, easy to miss if you're panicking, and absolutely worth calling out on comms. Focus them together. One player plinking at a canister won't do much, but three or four rifles hitting the same side can rupture it fast. If you crack those tanks, the machine takes real internal damage and may drop low enough for a heavier damage phase.

Don't gamble with lightning

The Lightning Cluster is where overconfident teams disappear. Those orbs don't just drift around for show. They chase, cut angles, and catch players who thought a thin crate counted as cover. It doesn't. Use concrete, thick walls, rock faces, or proper industrial structures. If the cover looks breakable, assume it'll fail when you need it most. A lot of steady squads use one person as an anchor, tucked inside a safe building or behind a hard corner. It sounds boring until the other three players get clipped and need someone alive to reset the fight. That anchor shouldn't be peeking for damage every two seconds. Their job is to survive, watch the pattern, and keep the run from collapsing.

Secure the area before touching the loot

When Turbine finally crashes, take a breath. Seriously. The fight makes enough noise to pull half the map toward you, and smoke or wreckage can hide rival Raiders better than you'd think. Check rooftops, broken windows, and the routes leading into the arena before anyone starts looting. High-value parts and ARC Raiders Items are worth nothing if another squad rolls in while your inventory is open. Let one player loot at a time while the others hold angles. Swap after it's clear. It feels slower, but it saves runs. Turbine is hard enough without handing your reward to someone who waited for the gunfire to stop.
