v According to the resolution, citizens of the countries will not be required to obtain visas when visiting Vietnam in a temporary stay of up to 45 days since the date of arrival in the country, in any form of passport, and irrespective of the purpose of the entry.

Air travel is the fastest expanding mode of transport in the Vietnamese tourism sector, not only in terms of international traveling, but also in domestic tourism linking major destinations such as Hanoi, Da Nang, and Ho Chi Minh cities. Moreover, under-construction airports, such as the Long Thanh International Airport that is close to Ho Chi Minh City, are also believed to boost passenger carrying capacity considerably and foster tourism development.

v In May 2025, Airports Corporation of Vietnam stated that the construction of a second runway at Long Thanh International Airport is scheduled to commence by early June 2025, with project completion expected within 12 months, as per the Centre for Aviation.

Also, Hanoi generated USD 139 million in revenue during the 2025 Tet Holidays. These destinations are also being connected to the international market through improved transportation infrastructure, which includes expressways and enhanced rail lines.
