Bastions Arc Raiders are armored tanks that use gatling weapons, but drop valuable Bastion cell.

 arc raiders trading Bastions may be the most powerful robots of all, but to obtain Bastion cell you'll have to defeat these minibosses. It's hard to predict where to find Bastions, as they can spawn anywhere, including with Bombardiers. At the time of writing, however, Stella Montis is the only place that consistently has them. How to kill Bastions is also explained, along with their weaknesses.

 While Bastions can appear in many locations, the one we've witnessed is in the lower Loading Bay on the central Arc Raiders Stella Montis game map. It's the same every time. You can easily shoot at the Bastion from the upper levels. The enemy is less likely to reach you. There's still a chance that it will fire in your direction but there is plenty of cover, and you can retreat to heal again and apply shields. It's hard to find a better place in Arc Raiders to hunt these enemies.

 Bastions have a weakness on both their legs: the yellow joints, and their canisters. If you want to stun or damage the Bastion significantly, then use armor-piercing attack on these two sections. By destroying their back canister you'll reveal an enormous tank, which is even more damaging to the Bastion.

 Other than that, you should use heavy-duty weaponry and fire attacks as Bastions are slow and will find it difficult to avoid or leave areas in flames. Arc Raiders can provide you with the following weapons and gear to hunt Bastions.

 Check every single piece once the Bastion has been destroyed. Bastion Cells are rare and can appear more than once per Bastion. This means that if one piece of metal is missed, you could miss out on your arc raiders coins.

 You will need 6 Bastion Cells to upgrade to the Gear Bench at level 3. You'll need at least 2 Bastions to fully harvest the parts if you're not using a teammate.
