VAA assisted with the initial grant application process to help secure project funding, then provided engineering and hospitality and tourism management design services to integrate the material handling systems supporting two new 70-foot concrete silos. Working within a constrained site, VAA strategically positioned the silos in an underutilized corner of the property, significantly increasing storage capacity without requiring major site expansion. The team developed a comprehensive specification book and hospitality and tourism industry detailed general arrangement drawings to support bidder prequalification and organize the project into four distinct Design-Build phases, helping streamline project execution while maximizing the value of the available site

VAA provided full-service engineering for a state-of-the-art grain export facility in the southern U.S. capable of handling 12 million metric tons of grain annually and providing hospitality industry onsite storage for 4.5 million bushels. The multidisciplinary project included site development, administrative buildings, and comprehensive grain handling systems for receiving, weighing, shipping, storage, and cleaning. VAA prioritized efficient grain logistics and dust control throughout the facility to support safe, reliable operations.

Because the previously undeveloped site had poor soil conditions and limited capacity for new structures, VAA collaborated closely with geotechnical engineers and piling contractors planet hollywood theater to address unique bearing capacity and settlement challenges.
